    GLOSSOP OLD BAND are actively searching for an experienced Front Row Cornet player with immediate effect. (The position is negotiable with Principal seat available to right person). Also BBb Bass and 3rd cornet players. We rehearse one night per week, Tuesday, with extra rehearsals whenever necessary. Interested parties should contact MD David W Ashworth at: [email protected] in total confidence. The band will always make any player welcome as cover is always needed for holidays, work etc......

The Bandroom 8pm

As a 'thank you' to all the local businesses who have made donations for the ongoing refurbishment Glossop Old Band are having an evening of light enternainment at the Band Room, all proceeds from this concert will be donated to The Christie Hospital in Manchester. Entrance is £2 person, pay at the door, there will also be a raffle and auction on the night.
