Whilst waiting for the coach outside the town hall the band had their picture taken by the Chronicle photographer who spotted us waiting to go. Thankfully the weather stayed good this year and an enjoyable evening was had by all. The band would like to thank all the guest players who helped out and we couldn't have done it without them. We'd especially like to thank Laurence Owen, who plays for the Band of the Coldstream Guards, for helping on Eb bass and hope he managed to get up in time to get back to London for Trooping the Colour rehearsals at 8.30am on Saturday.
