Whit Friday 2011

Glossop managed to play at all 11 Tameside contest on June 17th thanks to some fantastic driving skills by the band's coach driver, Viv. It turns out that Viv is a former player with Mossley St Johns and certain was in the Whit Friday spirit as she managed to gain us some valuable time by overtaking 2 coaches who were dawdling at the traffic lights in Denton! She also taught Dave Richardson the difference between a bus and a coach, just ask him next time you see him!

Glossop Old Band once again have been placed 2nd local overall for Whit Friday gaining 2nd overall at Dukinfield, best local at the Broadoak and 2nd best local at Stalybridge.
